My Lovely Lars :)

Just thought I'd share some nice pics I got of my Female Common BN Lars!
I was very shocked that she came so close to the front and stayed happily still whilst I fetched my camera and snapped away! She usually ducked for cover when she spots me Smile

Unless there's courgette in hand of course Laughing

Please excuse the random fish in the background, I swear they see the camera and come a flocking Very Happy

I think she's gorgeous! She's the first ever Plec I got, and the fish that got me hooked on fishkeeping Very Happy

Thanks, I was surprised that my camera took such nice shots, it's normally quite rubbish to macro stuff Razz

It must be love, why else would a burn my fingers blanching courgette for them lol!

An older picture here, back in the old, smaller tank. Not as nice as the other shots, and she is slightly showing her stress coloration because she'd just chased Tim off her favourite spot xD Plus she's got sand all over her for some reason Laughing

We don't blanche courgette, but we do blanche carrots ..... this seems to be their fave at the moment.

I just do it so it sinks to the bottom and gives the Plecs a chance to get to it before the Gourami does. He loves the stuff! xD

I caught Lars chilling out on top of some courgette, sucking away on a stone! A bit confused me thinks Razz

She's showing a bit of stress colour here, she doesn't always like me looking at her lol!

Plus, Flat Lars is flat Very Happy
