PostSubject: Plant Website?   Mon Jul 26, 2010 5:02 pm

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of any good plant comparison websites? I want to read up on some, because my turtles are really good at uprooting the plants, so I wanted to look into what plants can survive uprooted (if that makes sense). I am having issues with them killing the plants, then having to get the plants out to stop pollution.

Thanks if you can help Smile

unfortuatly, turtles and plants just dont go. They up root them to get to the stems and roots of the plant to eat them. and no plant can really survive that.

But if you are looking for info on plants in general, then aquariumlife.com.au is a great place for info.

Yeah I am learning that the turtles uproot the plants, though they dont seem to munch on the plant roots, possibly because they are purely carnivorous, they just "redesign" the tank when they are plodding about. I am probably going to switch to fake plants in that tank soon.

Anyway thanks for the website it does look pretty detailed and a good site Good Job
