I bought my first BN la year ago. A young common with a mustach I called Mike. With no new bristle growth, I'm starting to think Mike's a Mischelle. Three days ago I bought two albino BNs from Walmart, a mercy buy since I only get food and filters there, and I wanted more BNs. Smile Anywho, what would the odds be that one of the babies will turn out to be male? The manager of my usual LFS said they would buy the offspeing from me since they can't always get them.

What are the chances? probably a pretty good one of the newies would be a male, a friend of mine brought 2
juvenile ABN and the same thing is happening - 1 has decided to get the grow on and turning out to be male and is now
harrasing the female common which has breed before with the common male that is allready in the tank.

That would be great! cheers I'm hoping that I got one of each. Told my daughter that if they both turned out to be male, she could have one for her 55 gal tank.

If it's a good male like "polly's" it shouldn't take to long grow and start misbehaving, about 12-18 months.
