I have got some 'true' Endlers (not hybridised with guppies) and managed to some great colour variations. Here are some pics:

Also, if you had the light at the side of the tank instead of the normal at the top of the tank then the male Endlers would swim on there side just so the light would catch there colours! The males are all about beauty and spend most of there time showing off!

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but those aren't pure endlers. I can tell by the way the colors don't pop out at you, the spotted tails and other things like the solid orangish color with one spot on the bottom. Those aren't traits of pure endlers.

Some of my first generation that was brought back from Venesuala by Adrian Hernandez and Armando Po

WOW they are special looking little fish (as far as little fish go Laughing ), even if Pleco Paul's fish are hybrids(I still dislike hybrids) he's got some great coloured little fish too.
Nice pix guys.
cheers J

Yes those of Pauls are hybrids, I would say somewhere back in the line there was a guppy added to the tank. And now are showing throwbacks which can happen a lot.

Several people that I have seen online will sell hybrids as pure if the coloring is right. But the hybrid will show itself down the line when least expected.
The hybrids can be beautiful in their own right. I have seen several I wouldn't mind owning myself if I had the extra tank space. But the sellers need to specify that the fish are hybrids and not pure.
