My ABNs and BNs love zucchini, fresh string beans, carrots, yellow squash. I serve the zucchini and squash on a thin skewer which works quite well because they have a lot of surface space to chew on. I'm really curious about the screwcumber though. Today, I added a slice of sweet potato to a skewer of zucchini. The fry are interested...we'll see what happens tonight. Dad loves carrots Fry munching on Zucchini on a driftwood branch Sweet Potato and Zucchini skewer

Nice pix abnmom1, great to see some foto"s attached to a post :bounce: Oh yeah food: I've only tried Zuchinni, green beans and peas( funny the peas had no where near the success as the other 2), and hold down the zuchini down with a spoon , just thread it on the skinny end +no pointy bits that you get with a fork. Waiting to try sweet potatoe. Cheers J

Keratin is an extremely strong protein which is a major component in skin, hair, nails, hooves, horns, and teeth. J

keratine is just literally what your hair and nails are made out of like KJ said it is a type of protein. but when eaten by us it doesnt provide much for us. people say zucchini is mroe healthier than courgette to us but for fish its quite opposite i believe

Beet tops and spinach are my bns absolute fave. It is easy to grow on my tiny balcony and I enjoy it too. they particularly like it if the spinach goes to seed a bit, they eat all the soft flowers off first.

I have just started feeding vegetables to mine they like the zucchini and sweet potato. Do I have to blanch it for the fry and parents or can I just put it in the tank for both (the fry are about 3/4"-1" long snout to tail?
