| Bristlenoses are going absolutely bananas today for watermelon. We are a good team; I eat most of the red bits and they eat the rest. |

| Generally you would feed the "peel" off the watermelon, The Green part. The soft red fruit part that we eat messes up the tank at an alarming rate. |

| I came across a veggie mix I hadn't seen before when I was looking at veggies at Walmart. It's a hybrid or mix of Squash and zucchini, Looks like a zucchini but has the consistency of a solid squash. No fibers or anything like that just solid "flesh" as it were. I have found that it keeps longer in the fridge and takes longer to get mushy in the tank. I don't know if any of you have every come across it before or if it's old or a new thing, but this is the first time I have seen it. My b/n seem to absolutely love it. and I have kept it in my tank for two days(same piece) without any significant molding or rot. Just thought I would share this info with you all and see if you have any luck with it. |

| I read about giving them peas and beans....has anyone ever tried dried beans with any of their plecs? Would that even be a good idea?
With the sweet potatoe, do you peal it first? |
