This reminds me of the first time Wayne brought some Hoplo cats home from an auction, and also about a dozon decent sized golden apple snails. They all went in a tank together for quarantine, and the next morning the shells were empty ..... bloomin hoplo's had managed to get 'em out of their shells LMAO

The only snails I like are the assassin ones .......... in fact we discovered we have some baby ones, so at least when they grow they have a purpose lolol

I have an albino that chewed a hole in a snail shell (little over an inch big) and would munch on him a little bit at a time. Removed the snail thinking this would be a horrible way to die. Started including more protein in his diet to keep him happy.

Yea, yea, I talk funny. I think it's a result of growing up as an international kid picking things up from everywhere I go.

Wow Thats amazing.
I have one of those stories..
I was doing a wc on a tank the other day, this tanks has guppys and a juvie lf bn, I had a ramshorn snail sucked up with siphon and, didn't notice it was still in the bucket after tossing water on the garden. so it c=got cooked when I rinced the bucket with hot water, before filling with the fresh water...poor thing, anywho...I forgot again(old age lol) and when adding the water the snail tumbled in too. The guppys grabbed a bit and tore a bit off, and then the Lf bn camed from no where and got stuck right into it..this snail was a half grown ramshorn.
I was amazed...
Gibbys are lovely fish...

Assasin snsails ey...interesting...can ya get them in Oz ..will have to find that out...
