| Losing the odd one I can cope with buy 5 fish from same LFS within 2 weeks is not on. I was gonna see how good this guy was and give him a list of some plecs I want and see if he can get them but I do not think I will bother now
I know he gets all his fish from czech republic but most LFS's get fish from here atm |

| You're right Jag, most do come from the Czech Republic, and having seen the price lists, you wouldn't believe how cheap they come in However, what they offer on the list and what ya get is 2 different things. I think the biggest thing is how long they quarantine the fish before selling them. Also, there was a programme on the tv the other night about what rights you have regarding pets/animals dying soon after purchase, and I believe that you have at least a week before the "warranty" no longer counts. How easy to enforce is another matter, especially with fish, as we all know how settling fish in can be. Also, I got it wrong, we didn't get the albino's from there lol, it was a male brown longfin who is about to moved out from his first brood |

It's on a main route and closer to Meadowhall too so is a lot easier to find than his earlier shop, and some others in Sheffield. |
These are now open, and having talked with Sean, he is willing to order in fish for us if there is enough demand. Of course the problem is if they come in (as they do 99% of the time) smaller than stated on the list. You can find his shop here Blue Ocean Aquatics Ltd
A map to them is here, although I have pilfered the link from the snake shop 2 doors away lol map
Contact numbers are Contact: 0114 3279498 / 07543 485558 They mainly have marine at the moment, but are building up the fresh water and already have some L numbers, not sure what they are though lol
If you pop in, tell 'em Wayne and Angi sent ya
I have to say though that is the best aquatics shop by far, fantastic size, great tanks, welcoming, and a mean cup of fresh coffee available |

| Man I wish there was a Pier Aquatics branch around the corner from my place- what an awesome range of pleco's. Any way the reason for the post , not sure if you guys in the UK have recently checked Pier's "new fish list", I spotted something called a red seam Ancistrus ,if any of you guys wanna look. J |

| Pier Aquatics is pretty good, but one thing to remember is ever you see a fish advertised you want get there quick as word of mouth about PA spreads pretty quick and as they will not reserve stock, if you snooze you loose |
