Hi mate, they will eat the other fry if they are dead, they will not cannibalise each other while alive. if youhave a few BN in a tank and a fish dies they can strip a carcass in no time. You shouldn't incourage this though as it's a lot of protien they are eating and this can lead to further deaths of fry.

Try to keep an eye on them and if there are any dead fry in there that you notice, I would remove them ASAP.

Hope this helps. Smile

indeed, not to mention any illness that killed the original fish will get transfured to the healty fish.

Hi,I have heard of other fish in the tank actualy eating them through the net (sucking them through the tiny holes). Is this a possibility? Also can they get over the net?Is the water level near the top?

As Bristlenoses has said the net fry savers offer little protection from fish attacking from the outside, are there any nocturnal feeders in the tank, any that are killed would/could be sucked through the net and the other fry will eat any remains.

You could try making your own FRY SAVER , most fish usually attack fry in savers from underneath and by using a container with a solid base it gives better protection.
