If someone(I knew and trusted) had a pleco or a pair that I really wanted,and/or couldn't find locally,I would pay$50-60 dollars to have it/them shipped. My question is how much would you pay for shipping?

The most I have paid is £15 (or about $24) but that was from a store with a good after service regarding DOA.

In the UK the Special Delivery Next Day service costs between £10-£15 with next working day delivery by 1:00pm.

same as doug. a couple of times iv ordered plecos via AaE (Australian air Express) and they have always arrived fine and in perfect health. This usually costs around the $40-60 depending on where its being sent from (that day delivery). Then there is Express Post through australian post @ around $15-20 and depending on how well the fish are packaged they are generally good (next day - 2 days delivery). Lastly iv had fish sent through Fastway and even though iv had bad experiences with them (courier didnt knock on the door which led to fish being kept in a freezing warehouse overnight! Evil or Very Mad ) they cost around $20-30 but i know other people from australia who swear by them (1 - 3 days delivery). So all in all if i had the choice id go with whatever postage you could get the fish sent to you the fastest no matter what the cost.

These comments are based on my experiences only
