| So here it is, i' sorting out a racking units and i will have 7/8 compartments, i want to add a small sponge filter to each one, so i am looking for a air pump that will power these, total water over the 2 racks will be around 400l, and i need one with about 6-8 outlets.. anyone got any reccomendations..... please add some links so i can have a look, cheers, Dave  |

| I have an 8 outlet pump that was used for a week on 20+sponge filters - could sell or swap if you want |

| Piston pump, for sure. I have one that serves 1150 litres altogether. I made it "silent" by placing it on a mattress sponge, and I am sleeping next to it. That's how silent it became.  |

| Blagdon Koi Air there is a range of pumps with 3 pin plugs with 6 - 18 air taps depending on which size you go for they are powerful and reliable you could also look at Hi Blow pumps again highly reliable |

| hi, i use a Hailea ACO - 9630 which has 8 outlets which i run sponge filters on. I find it a great pump, quiet and a good price. Find below link to one on Ebay from a seller i used for mine.
