| Hi,were the fry that died in a bare bottom tank or a tank with sustrate?
They need more than cucumber and a tiny bit of flake food. Can you get algae wafers there?
Do you hoover the gravel and do regular water changes and do you clean the glass on the bare bottom tanks? |

| to be honest it sounds like they are suffering from ammonia poisioning which would be what i would suspect given the low tank volume and high fish density I would be looking to stop them breeding for the time being til you can sequre a larger tank. take the cave out. also, 15ltrs is really too small for bristlenose regardless of breeding, they would be much happier in a 50-60ltr tank _________________ Doug's Bristlenose eBook - The number one source of Bristlenose information and the most detailed breeding guide avaliable 3rd edition OUT NOW!!! | To ID the bacteria the poop would have to be checked in a specialists' lab. I do know what is the situation there, but in Hungary a small fortune would not be ebnough to pay for that. |
