| Since mid October I have three L134 juvi. Unfortunately they show absolutely no interest in veggies, and hardly eat. Only JBL Novo tabs and tubifex they accept, sometimes.
Could you please let me know how do you feed these fishes? What I should include in their diet to make them happy? |

| Try a few more meatier foods or some carnivore tablets but keep trying them with the veg. What time of day do you feed them |

| At the beginning I fed them in the evening, but food was intact in the morning. About two weeks ago I started to feed them in the morning hours, and that seems to be closer to their preference. Only thing is WHAT they like, I cannot figure out, so far.
JBL's Novo Tab is meaty, so as JBL Discus Gran (25% shrimp). Jim, do you believe that I should try to give them frozen bloodworms, and things of that kind? |

| Frozen bloodworm is often recommended as is other frozen foods like brine shrimp, mosquito larvae and Krill is often used. Earthworm or earthworm flake is another option and small pieces of shrimp, prawn and fish flakes. Have you tried rubbing the veg with garlic or sticking a Novo tab in it.
So long as their stomachs do not appear to be getting hollow I would not worry to much, one of my L333's, it is also the largest, I have never seen it eat and I have had them for nearly a year. Yet my L129's appear before the food has hit the bottom.

| Rubbing with garlic?!? Never hear of that trick. What garlic suppose to do for my juvi L134?
As for Novo tab, I'll try that tomorrow morning. |

| Garlic is considered to be an appetite enhancer and is used in a lot of commercially made foods, you can get products like Garlic Guard but rubbing with a some crushed Garlic is a cheaper option. Don't use it with Vampire pleco's |

| Well, I cannot figure out what might be possibly wrong with my L134s. Had given them frozen bloodworm, JBL Novo Pleco rubbed with garlic, frozen fishmeat rubbed with garlic. Anyway, they don't give a damn about anything. They still look great, moving around the 92 litre tank, "climbing" the innumerable driftwoods, etc. Snails get to the food much faster from the other end of the tank and are chomping ferociously. Or is it possible that I missed something? |

| Hikari carnivore and massivore along with Sera Viformo I find work a treat for picky meatloving plecs it's also better to give them a mix diet as you don't want too much protein. Some plecos take they're time getting used to veggies also so keep at it n they will eventually figure it out |

| Thanks Kfenk, I'll try.
Now I feel it (again), that I love a fish sooo much, that it hurts. |

| What is their price over there?
In Hungary you can buy juveniles at a HUF 4000 rate, which is roughly equal to Euro 14/USD 18. (Just for your information, I used the eBay currency converter.) |
