| Wow! I just discovered ABN fry in my BN tank! There are no caves in there just a lot of wood. I have covered the intakes with filter media pouches. I am wondering if it is safe to leave them in there with the other plecos in that tank? It has one mature ABN and 5 other young BN's and one small juvenile Panaque that is very shy. |

| I would leave them where they are. Surely, the strongest survived, and you could expect healthy and robust offsprings from them.
Keep on the good work! |

| thanks everyone for all the advice, well their is actually atleast 20-30 fry now! I am now concerned that one looks a little bit bloated but no clamped fins just a very big stomach? Should I hold off on feeding? when I got home I was worried they may have not enough to eat but they seem to be full bellied or normal kind of smooth stomach, except for one or two that look over fed. I have fed them shelled green peas and the pea pods as well they are now taking to them very well off the veggie clips and the bottom.. before I left for work I dropped in a bit of hikari shrimp cuisine, is this a suitable supplement since I don't have any wafers or algea pellets and the tank is bare bottom with no algea. I am also removing most waste matter at the glass bottom which amounts to being almost a %50 water change daily. It's a 29 gallon/110 L? Also is Seachem Stability ( may only be available in the U.S) safe to use with BN fry? |

| I would opt for natural diet like cucumber, pumkin, etc. The little ones' digestive system is not as developed as their parents'.

| I agree, don't feed any protein to the fry,get some algae wafers and feed veg aswell. |
