| Hi all,
I keep a couple of archer fish in with my bristlenose in the display tank and they like a bit of salt so i've used it for a while and my fish seem to thrive. I was wondering if you use conditioning salt in your tanks? I know the pet store guy recommended it for use in tanks with guppies (and both my grow out tanks have guppies and BN babies). Your thoughts?

| Salt is generally not good in a bristlenose tank as it makes the water harder and less nice for the bristlenose. They come from a river system where the water is very soft and constantly flushed with large amounts of rainwater. I would avoid it _________________ Doug's Bristlenose eBook - The number one source of Bristlenose information and the most detailed breeding guide avaliable 3rd edition OUT NOW!!!
