I am sure everyone who keeps plecos sooner or later have losses.
Yesterday I lost a 5cm Queen Arabeque L260 pleco. Ouch! Judging by the look of its black belly it had developed an internal bacteria infection probably as a result of my feeding carnivore tabs to a fish I hadn't had long enough to cope with such rich food. :cry:

"Ouch"- you took that well brengun, I'd be well and truly PO'd. Seriously sorry to hear your loss- at least it sounds like now you know what to look for, if it happens again. A friend of mine is unidentifiable issues with a L168 tank and what ever it is, is eating their skulls out- very odd and gross. J

I just lost a L168 with head injury. I thought it must have just banged into dw while playing with its friends so I separated and treated with myxazin to make sure it healed.
It found a small piece of dw and actually, deliberately seemed to embed the dw into its head! It did die the next day. Very odd.
