Decided to take a couple pics today and thought id share cheers

Heres the Dad sitting outside the cave he last used (and ate the eggs Evil or Very Mad ) the bamboo cave to the left was his original spawning log but i guess he dicided bigger was better :|

And heres Mum. Notice the colour difference. Shes lighter than him without the defining spots and also has longer fins. Cant wait to see the fry when they are older Smile

Good Job Great pics, and super looking fish.

Those shells give an interesting look, what kind are they.

Sorry I have no idea what kind the shells are, they just came in a bag in the same isle as the substrate at Pet Stock (chain pet shop)
And yes there will definatlely be plenty of pics of the albino longfin fry when they reach selling size Smile

Love those pics. great looking BN plecos. I also can't wait to see how there young look...

Don't you worry about the shells leaching into the water increasing your PH/hardness? I took all my sea shells out of most tanks and only use in my African cichlid tanks.

shells are fine enough for them to have theyre first ever spawn in the tank so i don think they too worried. besides the shells are going once i move the tank.

Heres a full tank shot

With fluro light on

with LED lights on Very Happy
