| Can anyone tell me if the b/n on my profile pic is a male or a female? I was under the impression she was female, not too sure now tho.

| I'd agree, looks like a nice healthy female and most males will be showing some growth around the 5cm mark. The picture below shows two young males just showing signs of bristles, notice how they are more " V " shaped than your female.  |

| Thanks, She's around 2.5 inches i have a brown 1 slightly larger which is also a female who i inherited this afternoon from my uncle |

| I also agree with the above posts, looks like a nice healthy female. A good picture to get an idea on the bristles is the forums banner at the top of the web page. Adult male on the left, adult female on the right. Females can get bristles though these are quite small in size, males get massive ones and only theirs go up the nose to the top of it. | She's about 2 and a half inches give or take, she doesn't stop still long enough for a more accurate reading! lee |
