Yeah, I had a hunch it might be... Going to need to start saving because I don't plan on getting rid of it, it's an amazing fish. I had assumed it was, posted here, then looked around the I.D. part of the forums which only made the fear for my current bank balance worse. It seems to be a juvenile, however, it shows no real sign of aggression towards the other fish, these fish are currently:
3 x Gourami (2 spotted, 1 opaline)
2 x Clown Loaches (bigger than my shark, they have no issues)
2 x Neon Tetras
1 x Red Tailed Shark
1 x Bristlenose (not sure what type, might get a picture of him)
1 x Upside Down Catfish
and... seemingly...
1 x Juvenile Adonis Plec (which was already in there when I received the tank, OBVIOUSLY the people didn't have a clue what they bought)
Currently I have 4 distinct areas within my tank. I have the big cave which is in the picture which both the Adonis and Bristlenose like to stay within, admittedly when both in there and moving around they have their scuffles, even though the Adonis seems to come off second best, it very rarely happens and they spend like 20+ hours a day in that cave together. I have a little moss tunnel which is very popular with practically everyone, the majority pass through and the loaches "sleep" under it together. The last 3 on the list do not really bother with this part. There is a forest of Amazon Sword which the shark swims around and sits in and theres a little barrel piece that the upside down catfish likes to stay in. So really, theres no territory issues, I've managed to balance that out quite well, or at least in my opinion I have. E.g. The shark used to hold down the big cave, so I created something more interesting for it, hardly goes near it now. Also theres a "guitar stand" of wood that is surrounded by this forest.
Anyway, hopefully I get some confirmation, seems quite evident to me that I'll be putting money towards the "new Adonis Home" tank for the future.
Cheers.
