Sorry if this has been asked before

I am 90% sure i have eggs seeing as i saw the male and female in the cave together after work the other day and the male has been fanning since. I have been doing daily water changes to try and trigger this and i'm just wondering if i should stop the water changes or keep them going? Thanks

Congratulations on the spawning.

If you were doing cool/cold water changes to trigger the spawn then you can stop and just do normal water changes of about 20% every couple of days. Try to avoid disturbing the male or he may boot the eggs.

alright ill do a careful water change tomorrow as i havnt done one all weekend.

depending on the size of the tank i would go with normal water changes until they hatch then with small regular changes until they are 2cms or bigger.

I do daily 10% changes on my grow out tank to ensure everyone is happy and healthy!
