vegies from a can = vegie fail IMO.

No idea what preseravtives they have used or what else goes into that goup that they are in. I would avoid it like the plague, that goes for both you and the fish Smile

I've not tried them, but I don't see any reason why not.

Would you try them as they are or blanched?

I know a few people who feed canned french cut green beans and haven't had problems with it, but I don't believe they use it as a staple. I've done it once or twice, and I've rinsed them well before putting them in the tank. The problem I have with it is that canned veges usually have a lot of added salt, even the low salt ones. I think fresh of frozen green beans should be OK as that isn't much different from using thawed frozen peas.
