| Hey! Congratulations!! It would really depend on what other tank mates they have... I move my cave, male and eggs into a tank of their own that they will stay in until they are big enough to sell... Normally they would be absolutely fine to be left in the tank and dad will take very good care of them but I know some of the larger types of fish can think they are a snack! Others on here will be able to give you more info!! Good luck |

| indeed, as long as there is nothing in there that will eat them then its best to leave them with dad. He is their best shot at being healthy Only reason to move them is if you have a designated grow out tank for them, catching them will mean the total distruction of your tank or they will get eaten in the current tank. _________________ Doug's Bristlenose eBook - The number one source of Bristlenose information and the most detailed breeding guide avaliable 3rd edition OUT NOW!!! | leave em in the parents tank if theres no other fish in there to eat them. fry that are left with the parents are healthier than those that get put in growout tanks. something about good bacteria they get from the parents poo to strengthen there immune system. doug would b able to explain better.... |

| its kind of like humans getting antibodies and other benifits from our mothers milk. Bristlenose pick up benfiical bacteria for their digestive tract from muching down on mum and dads poo...I think they got the rough end of the evolutionary stick there HAHA _________________ Doug's Bristlenose eBook - The number one source of Bristlenose information and the most detailed breeding guide avaliable 3rd edition OUT NOW!!!
