Hiya all can some one help me,one of my male peppermints is in a small log cave and a female is always at the entrance trying to get in would he be looking after eggs???

indeed, no way to know and if this is the first time i would not be poking around too much or torching him. Best best is just to wait and see if you will be rewarded for your efforts.

Thanks mate but I need to change it as I no longer have the L104s. Prob should change it to Peppermint Beistlenose as they are what I'm focused on now.

As an actual reply to this thread, peps need to be atleast 18 months old before they mature. So unless they are old enough they won't breed anyways

should make yourself up an egg tumbler too. they have a habit of booting eggs on there first try anyways. that way if you cant help yourself (most cant) and do shine the torch in there youll be safe if he does boot em

What exactly is an egg tumbler? i am guessing it pretty much imtates what the male does when he fans the eggs.
