| It looks like an L181...aka....L071 Peppermint, L183 Starlights keep a white edge to the dorsal fin which is why there also known as the White Seam Bristlenose. Peppermints have a white seam when young but lose it as they grow.
They could be L182 Starlights but it looks like a Peppermint to me. My Peppermints were also described as Starlights when I bought them. |

| I breed Lo71 and these look a little too young and too dark black and bright white to be L071...
I think they could well be the peppermint just not the L071, if they are then they are darker than I would expect at that size.
Though you can not fully tell what size they are from a photograph.
Lovely fish either way....
"JIM's advice is pretty much accurate also".............
Just try to get some more lovely photos a little more close up if possible...
Kind regards

| The LFS also had one described as a 'peppermimt' which was similar but no white flash on the tail fin. I chose these because he had three. I am minded to go and get the third one. [img] [/img] The picture is not good as every time I go near with the camera the mollies come up looking for food so I have to retreat a bit and then get the reflections. This little one is about 4cms. |
