Could anyone tell me anything about these, i was sold a pair of 6 inchers by a shop as 'snow spot plecs' and as per not many labels are correct now days but i can't find a shred of info on these guys.

I had seen the link on planet catfish but again it doesn't seem to share much, are these a less wanted type of Bristle?
i must have over 10 different types of Bristles and the info to match but these guys don't seem to be on anyone wish list, ah well thank you for your help, i may have to keep a note book on these guys and share my findings as the months go by.

No such thing as a less wanted bristlenose

some of the rarer types will fetch a higher price and therefore may be looked over by some of the more skint fish keepers tho

Well these were £18 each which i don't think is too higher price for a pair at 6 inches, im not sure if there rare or not but i'll definatly be keeping an eye out for more i think there beautiful.

I've got a breeding set of 6 peppermints and there's a definate difference, the spots are smaller and i find on my peppermints when out of breeding the spots can go a light grey where are these guys are pure white spots at all times.

Deano is the man to ask about L100's although he has gone a.w.o.l recently and im not sure when he will be back....iam pretty sure some threads were started a while ago on these but it just may take a while looking through old threads.....
Deano breeds these so he has vast exp...on them....
And L100 are a great species to own and are not so common.....

I would def check with Deano too, as alot more experience with these...
though my peppermints respond to stress the same way... but how many types of fish look so much alike....

this is a topic why we are here, and why we are all intrigued with the species I guess....

if no Deano is around then may be head off to the book store and buy the back to nature book, as that is a good resource for helping to identify
black plec's with white spots, and also pleco's with white spots that go grey when stressed...

Checked the book there deffinatly 100's but they have no info.....Oh well.
