| Just thought I'd share some pics of a tank I set up a few months ago. I have two juvenile albino bristlenoses, which have a blue ring around their eye, dunno if this is just standard or if they're a special kind? It's heavily planted, and just has some simple guppies and cardinals in it. Its on my windowsill, and I leave the curtains open all day, so it gets the full glare of this south China sun! I inject co2 via DIY yeast culture, and don't bother trimming it down...just letting it go wild. Tank shot: Detail, left to right: and most importantly, the BN: The best part is the price! Total cost including plants, tank, fish lights, filter etc = 450rmb (about £40/$70) If I had my own car here, I would definitely get carried away...the aquarium fish market here is ridiculous. I will make a separate post about the place when I get the chance. |

| Lovely. I love heavy planting and am not too successful with it. How long is your tank? Looking at the watch I would guess about 3 '
