I have my favourite L144, nothing can compare to a true L144 under a good light or tube...
the way the heart shines red on top.....
may be if I see a true out standing Show quality Super red I may change my mind, but honestly think that day is many years away...

| i have and breed both the super reds and the l144s and both very nice fish german strain of reds are much better than chech fish and yes a true l144 male can look absolutely stunning so a close thing but i would say the reds win especially when young a young super red at about 1 and a half inchs has an amazing colour to it a deep redy orange and eyes that look like little blackcurrants but both nice fish.  :bom: |

| I have to say I love the L144, this was hard to vote on, But I find the super reds a little bit more striking, I do not have either one but would love to some day, among a few others too! |
