| The Queen Arabesque Pleco (L-260) Minimum Tank Size:200 litres Diet:Omnivore Origin:South America Temp (C):22-26 C Max Size:8cm Family:Loricariidae Temperament:Peaceful pH:6.5 - 7.0 Care Level:Moderate The Queen Arabesque is a dwarf pleco that reaches a maximum size of four inches in length. It is one of the many members of the Loricariidae family, the suckermouth catfish. Due to the abundance of stock available in the catfish category, it has become very difficult to categorize them by species. As a result, you may see a reference to the letter "L" for the family Loricariidae, followed by a number. The Queen Arabesque is referred to as L-260. The Queen Arabesque dwells on the bottom of the aquarium and appreciates plenty of driftwood in its environment. Feeding the Queen Arabesque Pleco is not difficult due to the fact that it is not a picky eater. Feeding off the bottom of the tank, it gets most of its nutrition from left over food and algae. If there is no algae or left over food present, supplement with high quality flake food, sinking carnivore pellets, and freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex........... |

| Any idea why an 8cm fish required a whopping 200ltrs of water? I would have thought 100ltrs would be plenty. |

| My trio breed in a 2ft tank. I am a firm believer that if you keep control of the water the fish will do the rest
Cheers

| My guy lost his whole tank of Queen Arabs and as they were the only breeders in NZ and are banned from import, I may not be able to get any. Not impressed... He should have sold me some as a backup to his breeding colony. |
