how much vegetables should i feed my Bns weekly and what sorts of vegies?

well as for what to feed them the list is a sticky at the top of the page but the staples are cucumber and zuchini. people tend to go one way or the other with them. I like cucumbr as zuchini tends to fould my filters really badly. other like zuchini as it has more nutritional value.

In terms of how much, you will be surprised at how much they will put away. Because cucumber is 96% water they need to eat a lot of it, just like their natural diet of algae. I tend to throw in a chunk about 8cms long, and leave it in there for 24hrs. after that i take it out becasue after that it will begin to rot. doing this you will quickly figure out how much is too much. My grow out tank will reduce an entire cucumeber to a skin in 24 hrs, actuallyimpressive to watch, wish i had a time laps camera!

mine have a base diet of cucumber and once or twice a week i supliment it with flake, algae wafers or bloodworms. but that cos they are in a tank all by themselves. in a community tank they will be getting th food that all the other fish get so once or twice a weeks should be fine
