| Greetings from Canada. I suppose I am the lastest F nut to sign up so hi yall and I have a Q. I have just finished a 135g river tank for 11 wild L046 Zebs. I am going with large species tanks for all my L#s rather than the typical sterile empty breeding tanks with a few caves. This tank is on a 3 line - 3/4" PVC manifold with 2- Aquaclear 110s. IT has 100lbs of fine gravel, 50lbs. of small river stones, 150lbs of large thin stepping stones and a good 50lbs of driftwood. So as you can imagine they have a few good hideing places. I rareely see them and would not even want to try to catch fry. My question is - Has anyone ever left L046 fry in a large tank to be raised in colony. I could trap them and remove them but would love to see a large family group interacting. Closeing joke for all you yukyuk types. While in hospital for my last Brain surgery (3 now) a funny happened. While the nurse was putting on my braclet id, she burst out laughing. The computer had printed it thus- Mr.^%$%$ room 203; Allergies = Fishnuts. rather than fish and nuts. It was a good chuckle at the time. Now that I typed it out it sort of pails for haveing been there. I think they left me enough marbles to play with? :sunny: |
