| A while ago I bought 3 albino long fin bristlenose plecos. I had a 10 gal set up for them and they have been in there till now. I have a 46 gal that houses a normal bristlnose whom has been in this tank for a long time.
I am wondering if keeping them in the 10 gal by themselves is a good thing??
I did place them today in my 46 gal so they can have more room to roam around etc.
Do you think that I should keep them in a tank to themselves or leave them in the 46 gal ??

| Honestly I would give them the added room, But be aware, they are bn's & if you have males and females, they will try to breed ...You may be over run before you know it.. |

| They will need to stay in the larger one regardless. 10G is too small for 3 mature bristlenose. My breeding tubs are 55ltrs and thats as small as i would suggest for any bristlenose tank. In the larger tank you will have to watch out for breeding and fighting depending on the ratio of males to females. tho i would think that with 4 fish in a tank that size you will be fine in terms of fighting, so just watch out for signs of breeding _________________ Doug's Bristlenose eBook - The number one source of Bristlenose information and the most detailed breeding guide avaliable 3rd edition OUT NOW!!!
