| I tried putting garlic paste on zucchini to try coax the pepps out because I never see them eat. Nothing happened except the garlic paste went everywhere and there was about 8 cherry shrimps on it instead of the usual 50. |

| I also soak algae/veggie wafers in garlic juice. I soak flakes and shrimp pellets for the other fish and everybody loves garlic. Carol |

| Interesting stuff - ive not tried garlic with mine before. I usually feed courgette or cucumber but am starting to try some new things - i got them an apple today go may rub some garlic on that before i feed them. Strawberries are next on my list to try |

| I've also never tried to use garlic but always pondered on the idea of it.
I always have the minced stuff you get in the jar. I might try it as a test later on between 2 pieces of the same veg, one with garlic smear, one without and see what gets eaten quicker.
I'm curious though, can you feed bns a chunk of pure garlic? Will they eat it? Is it good for them to eat on its own? And how would one go about stopping it float if it is ok to feed as is? |

| I think it's better used as a food stimulant rather than on it's own. Vampire plecos do not like it |

| Vampire plecos :P I would like to add when using minced or crushed garlic in the jar buy the kind with oil. Some of it has olive oil in it. which is good for us but would probably be bad for the tank The one I buy is in water works really good. carol |
