| Whoa!! magnificent shots, very well done... So do they eat there way out? Cos I know how hard and crystallized the shell around the eggs gets, I've breed my mystery snail once(well it didn't need my help or a husband for that matter lol), I was lucky enough to get a blue one from about 30 normal ones... |

I have these guys in with both my common and albino shortfin Bristlenose, as well as with my LF commons and Albinos and they don't seem to have any effect on the tank, other than removing more detris from the tanks.
I have also been told that they have been known to aide in the egg/fry stages as they keep fungus etc. under control, I cannot say this for sure as I have not seen it happen however it doesn't mean they don't as they move around in the dark [as do the catfishes] so it may well be then that it takes place.

| One thing I did see with them, I caught my male bn having a tussle with my Mystery snail, BN had his fin stuck inside the snails trap door, lol he was madly wriggling about trying to get loose, he obviously stuck his nose where it didn't belong...He emerged unharmed tho.. |
