| ABSOLUTELY GUTTED. I moved my male and his latest 2 batches of fry in to another tank on friday night in my fish cupboard in the porch. When I went into the porch on Saturday I knew something was wrong as there was a fishy smell. When I opened the door the water in the tank was cloudy and all the fry and Dad were dead. The heater had failed and fried them all. The tank next to it was up at 30 degrees as well so once I emtied the "dead tank" I added a few ice cubes to cool the one at 30. On the look out for a new male now if anyone around Sheffield has one to spare please |

I met Deano on Saturday where he gave me 2 male albino bristlenoses. One has been put with 2 of my females (1 smallish common and 1 large albino) the other in another tank with no females. My plan is to swap them about to avoid fatigue. Then last night (monday) the males in with the females invited the common in to his luv shack. Tuesday night and hes sat on eggs. |
