| whats the best way to keep a whole zucc fresh? always buy them 2 to a pack, by the time i get to the second one it is getting soft. should i wrap them in clear wrap? any ideas?  |

| i just keep mine in the fridage and they last a few days..... i know someone that cuts them up and freezes them |

| good question mate this is the only down fall for me using courgette....
They only tend to last a few days even if the fridge.......

| We buy the smallest one we can find and seal it in a food saver bag. Lasts about 2 to 3 weeks untill it starts really breaking down. |

I buy 2 a week just to feed my fish, they never go off as never have any left  |

| Not trying to hijack your thread..but I blanched some last night for mine for the first time. They swam around it for a few minutes like hungry sharks taking nips here and there..then they moved in for the kill. Apparently they like it!  |

| Mine last a fair week or so in the fridge, but then, theres never waste as my mum usually cooks whats left  Or have we all forgotten that zucch is human food too  |

I'll put it in usually around 9pm then take it out around 6am. |
