G'day Everyone
I would like to share with you a proven DIY Cave, I found one in a forum, Kudos goes to Mathew Beaugard from the www.fishcave.com.au

OK This is what I did...I used a clay/terracotta pot from my local nursery(70cents), 6cms x 6cms, hack-sawed it in two halves, with a half rounded bastard file, I made the opening of the cave & smoothed off the edges..
Using Selleys aquarium silicone, I stuck the two halves into the cave shape. then dismantles a cheap picture frame, and stuck the pot/cave onto the glass, Leave 4>6 days to cure..
Viola.. The perfect & proven BN breeding cave Very Happy

Yup,They are the caves I bought off of Beagley(aka Mathew Beugard), if you go to the fishcave.com he's got a few more great D.I.Y ideas especially the cave made with a pot saucer.
Laughing Nice pics too Mooo.
cheers J

feels satisfying when they spawn in ur own creation. i was happy when my alb lf spawned in the cave i made coz they have plenty to choose from. well i not really my own creation, i just drilled a hole in a piece of wood.

yea fish cave is an awesome site, i've made breeding caves for all my bristlenose out of the saucer job. Works pretty well although i've had males fan the eggs out of the cave on numerous occasions . I don't know for sure but it might be because the cave is round?

I dunno, good pics guys!
