| the albino bristlenose is a white fish with pink eyes were as the l144 are usually yellow with a blue/black coloured eyes and like you said the l144 is a solid coloured fish were as the albino can have a blotchy appearence but is totaly white or can be pale pinkish depending on were you source your fish from hope this helps you. |

| Albinos in any form always have red eyes.If it hasn't got red eyes it isn't albino  |

| The fish sold as L144 are not usually the fish originally described and are only a colour morph.
There is a profile of the L144 on This German site showing a fish that is more like the original description. |
