| Hi, just wanted your advice on my new albino plecos with the long-fin gene (dad is a long-fin, mom is normal)
They came in the mail, all alive even the DOA one so I have 7. I did the math and found out I got them for $4.10US so I guess I got a good deal, none of them have long-fins but hopefully the babies will.
I put them in my 10g for quarantine and since it is my only tank with driftwood, I figured it was best, just until I get my 20g and 30g that will be set-up in no more than two months
I am dosing exel and flourish for my plants, doing 40% water changes weekly, is there anything I need to change? |

yeah you need to get a differant blood line in their if these are siblings. and your not going to get many long fins from all short fins if i was you i would order some propper long fins and breed these with the ones youve got then you will get a better amount of long fins. hope this helps |

| A different bloodline you say, hmmm... I guess I can try to. I know cross-breeding is bad to so I guess if I just raise these guys and sell them for a higher price (which I was planning on doing anyway) I can get some real long-finned one's |
