High guys, I've been playing around with my biggest internal filter parts and had a crack at improvements Good Job
Now it runs twice the amount of surface area and pumping 1800ltrs p/h hasn't lost any effeciency (at all that I notice)
It was a bit of messing around - just to get the perfect fit for the parts, but all the gear you need to it is at your local hardware store.

See what your imagination can come up with.
cheers J

This power head is teamed up with a 1000ltr p/h external and a air powered corner sponge filter,
the only real parts of the tank that get grubby is right under the wood where it doesn't get disturbed so much.
I like it , it seems to work pretty damn effecient, well to me anyway.

I modified my internals so they have a spray bar. they are super powerful 402's. only problem is I need to be carful I dont knock them over....they would empty the tank in seconds...

Nice mod btw....I like it.

regards
Mark.

Cheers intrepidmax and 816johnv , still working great except for the impeller running out of line and keeping me awake all last night-- oh well out with the supa glue today and give him a clean.
