Subject: Huge Cichlid Setup(Pic's).... Sun Jul 05, 2009 8:09 pm
Right here is the long awaited Cichlid Setup...... Its only took my dad about 3 months to complete lol....
The Tank was specially made to my dad's spec's........... He built the hood and stand himself so pretty dam good really.....
He decided he wanted an aqaurium that looked like a Marine setup with coral rock...and the sandy bottom..............
It also has a huge fluval external filter running and a fluval 4 internal....
Anywayz enough talk here is the tank and lots of cichlids(mainly Malawi).
All photo's have been taken by myself but this setup belong's to my Dad so full credit goes to him lol as its took so long to establish..............
So there you go hope you like the setup and cichlid pic's........ Just to add here is my Dad's other setup Juwel 125 Aqaurium...
Cheers Everybody.......................

I bet your old Dads well chuffed with himself African cichlids were the species of fish that first got me started on fish keeping until I found plecs and realized that africans were mean little snots(if kept with anything smaller) Some beauty pix as well Curby. Looks like the fish in pix 7 & 14 is holding a batch of eggs or babies to boot- did ya dad just buy these fish or did he pair uup the fish in question. J
