Or could you use water from a breeding pair setup to 'seed' your own setup with Hormones?

I am wondering if this may assist when trying to encourage the first spawn.

In theory I would have thought this may work assuming that the fish have a stable tank setup with spawning sites and all the usual triggers.

Been to the LFS and the guy showed me some hold spot plecs, I think he said it's about £3 a peice. Just wanting more info on these guys.

Are there any other plecs these are misIDed with?

What PH is ideal?

What's their diet?

Would it be okay with the BN's Considering the adult male is 6" and they're about 2"

and of course...

Anyone bred them?

Hi from sydney australia.

I wan't to get into bristlenoses and this seems like the place to start

Anyway the only ones I have at the moment are about 4-5 cm long, and i was wondering how long it will be until they grow up and mature. From what I can tell they are pretty clean shaven (no bristles) but I doubt this is because they are all female.

Cheers

Hi all..!!

I have been successfully breeding commons, albino's, calico l/f's peppermints etc for a while now and just recently picked up a trio of Orange Spot B/N's.

They are huge!

The male is 15cm+ and the females are 12cm and 10cm

Now, I have found in the past with commons, calico's etc, that the bigger the trio - particularly the male - the less frequently they spawn.. S'pose it's like teenagers shagging every chance they get and an old married couple do it rarely!! LOL..!!

and then my 6 new baby L144's which I got yesterday! so happy with them. been dying to get them. they are even cuter in flesh than on pictures. they are only 2cm at the minute.

I'll be getting some longfin albino juveniles in a couple of weeks time. can't wait.

Hi all,

I just joined and I know I might sound like a moaner but I am finding the backround annoying to read posts.

I am talking about when you read a thread, every second post has a sort of concrete render backround and the rest have like lines/panels and if your reading these and the text is on the join its painful to read.

I realize that this may be out of the admins/mods/owners control but my 2c is that we change the silver panels to something more reader friendly

Hiya...
I am asking for a kind soul to help me out , Does anyone have any Panacur25? that they would be willing to sell me a small amount of, maybe 50mls.
I am happy to pay, I can't find any less than 1L bottles available, way to much for me to use in a lifetime.
Thanks everyone...
EDIT:
Mission accomplished...A kind soul on Prestige Aquatics helped me out...

Henrietta is one of my tortoises - I got her when I was 2 yrs old, so she's at least 70+ now. Mainly for the younger females I built a 'nesting hill' a few days ago. Whilst giving them a drink today, H got in position to have a pee, or so I thought! I was gobsmacked to say the least when a perfectly formed egg popped out, next to my hill! It is now in the incubator to see if it is fertile :
